Musaic Box
Musaic Box is a combination of hidden object and a puzzle game that will tickle your mind, eyes and ears.
The story is: you get the note from your grandfather to come immediately to his house to get the birthday present. When you get there the „musaic box“is awaiting you. You also get the note from your grandfather telling you to search for the outlines of compositions that you will have to reinstate in the "musaic box".
The first part of the gameplay is hidden object like where you have to find pieces of the outline that are hidden in the rooms. Sometimes you have to do something first in order to find it like opening the drawer or turning on the lamp which will reveal the missing piece. Once you find pieces and assemble it you move on to the puzzle mode in the music box.
On the screen you are presented with the various shaped tiles with different color pattern on them representing the different musical instrument. On the bottom of the screen there is a piece of music that you have to get once you’ve finished assembling puzzle parts. Each brick represents the sequence of the music piece and you can always hear it by clicking it. For the ones with the good ear this feature will be more than helpful – for the rest of us “the trial and error” feature is much more attractive. Never let the same instrument appear in a given column twice, as a musician – illustrated by animated figure, can only play one thing at a time.
The variety of songs you'll assemble is great, from classical music to folk songs like “Yankee Doodle”, “We Wish You a Merry Christmas” and more. The stage is filled with pictures of famous musicians such as Handel, Haydn, Mozart, Strauss and when your cursor slides over you’ll be introduced to music-related facts, so this could be an educational adventure for some.
If you always wanted to make music, find objects and solve puzzles while doing it, than Musaic Box is one experience you shouldn’t miss.
